Hi Gang

Went running with my daughter this morning.....first time for her in a long time. Trying to convince her to run in the 3KM race in New Hamburg. She needs a little more convincing!
Cheers

Wendy and I were truly challenged mentally with the weather, distance and crowds! We did it....Wendy broke her last 30Km time by far! I achieved my goal of completing the race in less than 2:45 mins. I am ready for the next challenge. Who is going to Ottawa with me?

I want to go to Ottawa. I am feeling like I am falling behind though. I haven't been able to run in 5 days because of my head and I am frustrated and ticked off.

Fun to be back in boot camp last night after missing last week with the flu. My arms are sore from all the push-ups though. The running drills on the road were great but must have looked very funny to passing motorists.

How did it go on Saturday?

Trade Show was good! More awareness about our programs.....keep spreading the word.

See you tonight

A Gift for your Heart

Fit2Run was a Valentine's gift, something good for the heart. What a gift.
I have peeled back the softness of the night and have made my way down the Expressway at 7:35am so I can meet the running group for 8am. What has amazed me most most about those Saturday mornings is how much I enjoy those 8am runs. The air is brisk and it grabs your lungs, causing you to take a deeper inhalation, an invitation to honour the breath.

Bootcamp with Ms. Joy.

She yells, she models, she cares. When I am into my second circuit she encourages me to dig deeper for just five more. What is cool about that is that I am digging deep with a roomful of people who all have the same intention to ---- to get rid of those last ten pounds.

Back to my gift... I am a runner. I know what it feels like to have cheeks kissed by a -35 wind chill. I have watched the wind and snow dance across a farmers field ... and I am a soft spirited gazelle who stays tall.
I am a runner--- thanks Glenda and Wendy and my Bootcamp team mates.

PS: There is something real sexy about running hand-in-hand with your partner.

Namaste

This Saturday April 25th

While the 8km runners are out on the course completing their race on Saturday does anyone want to join me for the 5km run that we did on the 24?

I would love the company.

Hey Meridyth;

I wanted to thank you for the great yoga class this past Saturday. It was my first experience with Yoga and I loved it. I hope to find a way to incorporate a class into my weekly exercise!

Congrats to the 8K runners from Saturday, way to dig deep and look past the yucky weather!!

Looking forward to the next running group starting tonight!!
