Wendy Pauls
Life Coach, Personal Trainer & Running Coach

Wendy's passion for women’s fitness stems from her passion to see women lead richer, fuller lives – to grow in self-confidence and to unleash their potential.  As a Life Coach, many of her clients are searching for balance.  And leading a balanced life requires focus and energy on mind, spirit AND body. The beauty is that whenever we improve one area, the other two benefit as well.  That’s the power of synergy!   Wendy currently holds her Personal Trainer Specialist Certification with Can-Fit-Pro in addition to serving as a professional Life Coach and Certified Teacher/Trainer of Adults.

Her primary athletic hobby (or addiction?) is running. She has completed several marathons and half marathons, trail runs and dozens of shorter races.   "I’m hooked on the “runner’s high” and love to break a good sweat.  It just feels so rewarding.  When I run, I compete against myself.  I set personal goals based on my abilities and work to achieve them.  The best part is that improvement = winning.   That way, we all get to be winners!" says Wendy.

When she's not pounding the pavement, she spends as much time as possible with her husband and 3 amazing kids.  She loves to go hiking, play board games, watch movies or dance around the kitchen.  She loves to laugh, to spend time with friends, to engage in deep conversations and to help others who are less fortunate.
“To change one's life: Start immediately. Do it flamboyantly. No exceptions.” —William James (1842-1910)

Monique Gerber -
Personal Trainer & Running Coach

Monique has enjoyed physical fitness pretty much since conception. For her, there was seldom a day spent indoors as a child. From climbing trees, and swinging in branches, to performing balancing acts over rivers and then of course her passion -  riding horses:  everything seemed to lead towards being a personal trainer today!

As a teenager, along with riding, she belonged to the K-W Track team with 400m being her race of choice.

As she got older, (and according to her, not so much wiser), she became a farrier ( someone who puts shoes on horses) and quickly learned the benefits of cross training! By working out, she was able to get through her very physical job with less pain and exhaustion, and it also helped her riding. She has competed in western games, jumper and dressage and hopes to get back in the ring with her new horse this season.

Running has also been a regular part of Monique's life. She runs mainly for peace of mind and occasionally throws a few races in there.  Her recent passion is coaching others to run and her next personal challenge will be a full marathon.

She absolutely loves watching people break through their boundaries and realize what they are capable of doing. "What an awesome feeling! That is what fitness, running and riding do for me!" says Monique. That is why she has chosen to become a Personal Trainer. Not just to help people bust boundaries, but to have a ringside seat to enjoy the show! It inspires her to keep pushing too!
